'Gifts of the Artists' is an exhibition of important indigenous art. It offers insight into the positive interactions between Indigenous people and Christian missionary activity.
Doug says: 'This artwork is important because it is a positive story about missionary work over fifty years, and it is intriguing for the Aboriginal community’s use of the word ‘two-way’ when talking of their Christian faith and their traditional culture...'
Doug will conduct a tour and help people to look and interact with the exhibition and then talk about what the work says to us.
