The 58th Blake Prize Touring Exhibition will feature selected works from this year's Finalist Exhibition.  Also included will be the winning, highly commended and shortlisted poems from the 2009 Blake Poetry Prize.

The Touring exhibition was opened in Ararat Regional Art Gallery on 3 December 2009 and was enjoyed by many including Dianne Coulter, winner of the 2009 Blake Prize for Human Justice. Member for Wannon, the Hon David Hawker MP, officially opened the exhibition and Coulter provided closing remarks. Link

Delmar Trinity Gallery

The exhibition was opened on Saturday 30th January by Stephen Crittenden, Presenter ABC Radio and judge of the 58th Blake Prize. The Delmar Gallery provides people, who miss the National Art School Exhibition, a second opportunity to enjoy the Blake. The Society values the support the Delmar Gallery and Trinity Grammar School have shown the Society since 2006. To celebrate the Life and Times of William Blake, this year’s exhibition also featured a performance by The Sydney Omega Ensemble at Trinity Grammar’s Delmar Gallery

The exhibition was opened at Tweed River Art Gallery on Friday 26 March at 6:30pm. The exhibition will be opened by Angelica Mesiti, winner of the 58th Blake Art Prize.
An hour prior the opening event, Angelica was joined by Davd Cranswick, Director, The Edge, State Library of Queensland for a special discussion panel.

The 60th Blake Prize Touring Exhibition

The Blake Prize has much to celebrate throughout its history but no achievement more important than the contribution it has made to the careers of artists. Further, the Blake Prize reflects societal shifts in art and religion.

The 2011/12 touring season will feature 30-35 finalist artworks, including the winning artworks, selected by the judges from the 60th Blake Prize.
